SciFi and Fantasy Art: Teyúsu in chains

Chained and bound, the Fallen Angel awaits death in his prison, without any hope. Broken pride, a shattered mind, destroyed beauty. Only death will free him. Only death?

No comments?! I utterly adore this. It's so... fervent? The combination of the crayon and charcoal (?) makes this picture so moody and atmospheric; it really does exude a strong emotion. There's no words left to describe how much I like this. I hope you don't mind if I print this out so I can look at it whenever I like. 12

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "No, I don't mind. It's not charcoal, it's all done with colored pencils and darkened with a little help from my pc. Thanks for commenting! I like this one very much myself, although there are many mistakes I made in anatomy. maybe it's because I love this character so much."

I like it I like it 2
This style and mood totally appeals to me. And I'm always a sucker for bleeding angels. I don't know why, it's just a strange thing 10

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks! *grins* As a roleplayer and occasionally writer I always like to torture my main characters. Poot Tey is one of my favourite victims!"

I like this picture. It is sad but it has character and life

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks!"

Very nice pic... I think the wings, hands and feet could use a bit more work but other than that... wonderful. He doesn't really look like he's in pain to me... more like a defiant look which is totally cool 2

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks! Yes, I agree on the "hands-and-feet"-thing, I really need to practise! Glad you like him!"

Its so sad! But a gorgeous piece nevertheless. great job!

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks a lot! It was my first attempt on a sad/cruel theme and I really like the way it came out. "

Oooh Cruel!!! I feel the pain together with him and would like to do nothing more then free him, you know. Why is he fallen, then... and: having so much pain, could he not be forgiven? Greatly picture... let me really want to at least take him in my arms and give him some hope that his pain would have an end!

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Yes, poor Tey! I hated to do this to him, but that was how the story went! Believe me, he IS free now. The Nightshade sent him "on duty", he is now the healer at Venaro's court. Strange things happen to strange characters! 1"

So beautiful. I love the smoky/misty feel. I like the wings and how they are torn. I like the border and the way the hair flows. Hugs.

:-) Kristina 'Aryana' Siers replies: "Thanks! I am happy you like this one! "
